Ram Jhula Rishikesh – The Grand Suspension Bridge

750-Metre Iron Bridge Connecting Sivananda Ashram Across the Ganga

About Ram Jhula

Ram Jhula is a larger and more recently built suspension bridge in Rishikesh, connecting Swargashram on one bank with Sivananda Ashram and Muni Ki Reti on the other. It was built in 1986 and is 750 feet long — significantly longer than Laxman Jhula.

The bridge offers panoramic views of the Ganga and the surrounding hills. It is a hub of activity, with ashrams, temples, ghats and restaurants on both sides. Ram Jhula is an important transit point for devotees heading to various spiritual centres in Rishikesh.
