Ek Dham Itinerary from Haridwar

Day 01: Haridwar – Barkot (210kms/7-8hr)

Haridwar - Barkot. The 190 Kms ride will take 6 to 7 hours Our representative will meet you at your hotel. After refreshment, cab trip to Barkot will begin. We will first visit SatyaNarayan temple in Haridwar. This temple is the first destination of all pilgrims to the Char Dham. It is believed that, the Char Dham Yatra will not be fruitful until you visit SatyaNarayan temple which is on the way to Dehradun. Second destination on our way to Barkot will be Prakasheshwor temple in Dehradun. Thirdly, we will halt at the beautiful Kempty fall in Mussoorie. In between, we will take breakfast and lunch at spots we reach as per the time. Our final destination is Barkot where we will stay on the night.

Day 02: Barkot - Janaki Chatti - Yamunotri - Janaki Chatti - Barkot. 50 Kms ride and 10 Kms trek

After breakfast, our trip to the first of four Char Dham shrines, Yamunotri begins. We will ride to Janakichatti and the trek to goddess Yamuna temple will begin. We will perform worship at Yamuna temple and walk back to Janaki Chatti. Our cab will be waiting the team at Janaki Chatti to take back to Barkot. Night stay again at Barkot.

Day 03: Barkot - Uttarkashi. 85 Kms ride will take 3 - 4 hours

After breakfast, we will sit on the cab for our ride to Uttarkashi where we will stay the night. On the way, we will pay visit to Vishwanath temple and Prakateshwar Mahadev.

Day 04: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi. The 200 Kms ride will take 7-8 hours

After breakfast, our journey to the second Shrine of Char Dham, Gangotri will begin. On the way, we will visit and take bath at Tapt Kund, hot water spring. Pilgrims take a small portion of rice on clean cotton towel to dip in this Kund. The rice gets cooked and they bring this as Prasad of goddess Ganga to distribute to people in their home and neighbourhood. We will also visit Harshil, a beautiful mountain village in the Garhwal Himalayas. After reaching Gangotri temple, most pilgrims conduct the worship and prayers. We will ride back to Uttarkashi for the night stay.

Day 05: Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag. 190 Kms ride will take 6-7 hours

After breakfast, we will sit on the cab and ride to Tehri Dam. Later that day, we will visit the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini river. This confluence is named Rudraprayag. For the night stay, we will ride to Rudraprayag town.

Day 06: Rudraprayag - Gaurikund - Kedarnath. 76 Kms ride and 14 Kms trek

After breakfast, our journey to Gaurikund begins. We will pay visit to Guptakashi temple on the way to Gaurikund. Gaurikund is the spring where goddess Parvati used to take bath in ancient times.

Our trek will begin from Gaurikund. You can hire horse, pony or dolly. Helicopter service is also available if you prefer so. Same evening, we will pay visit to Kedarnath temple. We will stay at Kedarnath on the night.

Day 07: Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Rudraprayag. 14 Kms trek and 76 Kms ride

After breakfast, we will visit Shankaracharya Samadhi and begin the trek to Gaurikund. Later in the day, we will ride to Rudraprayag and stay there overnight.

Day 08: Rudraprayag - Badrinath. 165 Kms ride will take 4-5 hours

After breakfast, we will ride through the forest to Badrinath temple. On the way, we will visit Narsingh temple and Shankaracharya Math in Joshimath. If you want to experience skiing, you can visit Auli at your own expense. This cost can be included on the trip expenses if you pre-plan this adventure part while customising the trip. We will visit Badrinath temple in the evening an stay overnight at Badrinath.

Day 09: Badrinath - Rudraprayag. 165 Kms ride will take 5-6 hours

After breakfast, we will visit Mana Village, Ganesh cave, Mata Murti temple and finally go to Rudraprayag. This is where we will stay that night.

Day 10: Rudraprayag - Haridwar. 160 Kms ride will take 5-6 hours.

After breakfast we will ride from Rudraprayag via Devprayag to Rishikesh where we will visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Janaki Jhula, Geeta Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan. By evening, we will ride to Haridwar to the bus station, railway station or your hotel.
