Gangotri Tour Package from Haridwar

Tour Plan

  • Day 01 Haridwar → Uttarkashi (Approx. 140 km / 6–7 hrs).
    Early Morning: Depart from Haridwar around 6:00 AM by private cab or bus.
    En-route Stops:
    Devprayag – Confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi rivers.
    Rudraprayag – Scenic Himalayan views.
    Afternoon: Arrive in Uttarkashi. Check-in at hotel.
    Evening: Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple or take a stroll in Uttarkashi town.
    Overnight Stay: Uttarkashi.
  • Day 02 Uttarkashi → Gangotri (Approx. 100 km / 5–6 hrs)
    Morning: Early breakfast, depart for Gangotri by 7:00 AM.
    En-route: Stop at Harsil Valley for photos and refreshment; enjoy apple orchards and Himalayan scenery.
    Afternoon: Reach Gangotri, check-in at guesthouse/hotel.
    Evening: Visit Gangotri Temple, offer prayers, enjoy the tranquil surroundings of Bhagirathi River.

  • Day 03 Gangotri Darshan / Optional Trek to Gaumukh
    Early Morning: Attend morning aarti at Gangotri Temple.
    Option 1 (Light Exploration): Walk along Bhagirathi River, explore local markets, take photos of the snow-capped mountains.
    Option 2 (Trekking): Trek to Gaumukh Glacier (18 km one-way, requires fitness and early start).
    Afternoon: Return to Gangotri; relax at hotel.

  • Day 04 Gangotri → Uttarkashi → Haridwar (Approx. 240 km / 10–11 hrs)

    Devprayag – Short stop for photos at the river confluence.
