Overview

The Triyuginarayan Temple Trek is an old Hindu temple that is devoted to Lord Vishnu. The name means "Lord of the Three Yugas" in English. People say that this temple is where Lord Shiva and Parvati got married. The wedding ceremony will take place at Brahma Shila (Stone). The Triyuginayan Village temple located 1980 meters above sea level in the Rudraprayag District of Uttarakhand. You may get to this by walking about 10 kilometers from Sonprayag. There is a 10 km paved route from Sonprayag to Triyugi, and there is also a 7 km journey from Sitapur village to the main road.

The Temple looks like the Main Kedarnath temple, which is around 27 kilometers away from here. People say that the fire in front of the temple has been there since the heavenly marriage took place. The temple is also surrounded by three lakes (Kund) named after the three Hindu gods: Rudrakund, Vishnukund, and Brahmakund. There is a minor temple outside the main temple that is devoted to Panchanama devatas (five gods). There is also a cave dedicated to Gauri that is 2 km away from Triyugi Narayan Temple. Overall, the area is full of energy and has calm, pleasant emotions that you can take up.
