Overview
The Bharat Mata Mandir, or Mother India Temple, is one of the most interesting things to see in Haridwar. The temple has eight floors and is a big draw for tourists in Haridwar. Satyamitranand Giri built the temple. The late Indian Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi opened the Bharat Mata Mandir in 1983.
