At Tour Venture India, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines our cancellation and refund terms for all tour packages and services.
1. Cancellation by the Customer
All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to tourventureindia@gmail.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written notice.

Important Note
Cancellation charges may be higher during peak Char Dham season (May–June, September–October) due to non-refundable advance payments made to hotels and transport providers.
2. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days from the cancellation date.
- Refunds will be made to the same payment method used for booking (bank transfer/UPI).
- Bank transfer charges (if any) will be deducted from the refund amount.
- GST paid on the package is non-refundable as per government regulations.
3. Cancellation by Tour Venture India
In rare cases, we may cancel a tour due to:
- Natural disasters, extreme weather, or landslides affecting the tour route
- Government orders or restrictions (e.g., Char Dham closure)
- Insufficient minimum group size (if applicable)
- Any force majeure event beyond our control
In such cases, we will:
- Offer an alternative date or itinerary, OR
- Provide a full refund of the amount paid (excluding any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred)
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Helicopter booking charges (paid to third-party helicopter operators)
- Char Dham Yatra government registration fees
- Airfare or train tickets booked on your behalf
- Entry fees for monuments and national parks
- GST paid on the package
5. Amendment / Rescheduling
- Rescheduling requests made 15 or more days before the tour start date will be accommodated subject to availability, with no additional charge (unless costs have increased).
- Rescheduling within 15 days may incur charges equivalent to the cancellation fee for that notice period.
- Name changes in bookings are allowed with 7 days' notice at no extra charge.
